Academy Visit

Last Friday, we were treated to a fun tour of the Air Force Academy campus, courtesy of someone G works with right now. It was truly amazing to get an up-close-and-personal look at the campus and going-ons.

The Chapel has always fascinated me and I've only seen if from afar until Friday.



















It was blue inside from the beautiful stained glass windows throughout.














D was totally mesmerized by the retired planes.

We even got to eat lunch with the cadets! Absolutely amazing that they all come together and eat in the same space at the same time. Wow!




























Such a pretty campus sitting so close to the mountains.














Just gives a good perspective on the size of this whole place.














One last peek at the planes before heading out. It was cold!

We also got the tree up and decorated this weekend :). The kids were a big help this year!






































They have their own they can decorate and un-decorate to their hearts content too :).
