Silence IS Golden...Today

This morning, while I was trying to get ready for the day, I realized that the house had become dangerously quiet. Perhaps a function of the 3-year-old leaving da house?...Perhaps not. Anyone familiar with small children knows that silence is not always golden. Anyhoo, here is what I discovered...














...my sweet, sweet, darling, charming little 2-year-old was quietly reading in her room. Huh?!? Let's all take a moment to appreciate this fleeting amazing thing, shall we?! And in 13 years, I can look back on this post and reflect in a moment of the mother of this teen is about to pull her hair out in frustration nostalgia :).
