Denver Daze

Much fun was had yesterday, and in the great debate over who was more tired, in my case at least, the kids won :). D was asleep ~5 minutes after I pulled away from his Aunt and Uncle's, and slept all the way until 6:45 this morning! And even with a nap, P fell right asleep once we got home and slept until 6:30! T.I.R.E.D munchkins \o/! Thanks to Uncle B, Aunt K, S and E for yet another wonderful Denver day ♥!!!

P started the day with a new hair-style ♥.

Once all kids were collected, we started the day off at the Denver Zoo. And yes, we are contemplating petitioning to make us their newest exhibit lol :D. Note: we actually got all the kids lined up according to age here. *ahem* no, that does not include the big kid there at the left-hand side :).

We stopped for a picnic lunch by the duck pond. Amazingly enough, the kids did eat amidst all the beautiful distractions :).

Next,we hit the carousel where we rode Cheetahs, and Tapirs and Monkeys, oh my!

I managed to get a shot of Uncle B and E and P though they were fairly far away from my adventure crew (see above).

Then it was time to hit the train to get a survey of the land :).

And, in case you didn't see the distraction in the picture above, here you go... :D

Miss P had a great ride with her silly Uncle :).

After some 'quiet time' for the 3 bigger kids (SDE) and a nap for Miss P, we played outside and enjoyed a nice sunny late afternoon in the fresh air! We did have to make one small rescue, as you can see below...

Once rescued from the evol spider, D found a comfy seat from which to supervise all play activities.

The next several pics show that raking was quite the popular attraction!

...and D...

...and E :D! P was more interested in helping load leaves into the dump truck so they could be zoomed around the courtyard and redistributed :).

And in catching footballs, of course :D \o/!
