Buffalo Thunder Fun and Sun

While here, Grandma and Grandpa took us on a mini-vacation to Buffalo Thunder Resort & Casino which is just North of Santa Fe. It was so relaxing to get away from ABQ for a brief while, and enjoy watching the kids play and explore somewhere new. The Resort had a wonderful pool area, complete with a kids splash zone, which we all enjoyed :). Lots of fun ensued...

The moment the gates were open, D was off and running...straight into the waterfall :).



















P was a little more conservative on her approach, and as you can see, she decided upon one of her favorite past-times...'ba ba ba baaaaaaaaa' :). She has never been much for cold water lol, and the splash water was not heated.














She managed to take a time-out to hang with Grandpa ♥.



















The hot tub was enjoyed by all :).














D conned Grandma into floating him around the pool.














But eventually we all ended up back in the warm water of the hot tub. And of course we had to document all our fun drinks, including D's 'blue'.














Day 2 Miss P was feeling a little braver and decided to inspect the splash zone a little more closely.














D decided Buzz (Lightyear) needed a good bath :).














P enjoyed trying out a floatie that was left at the pool.














And D (yes, he is there under that hat lol) enjoyed splashing around the pool with his Daddy.














Arrival back in ABQ brought us into the 100 degree temps (I'm melting!!!!) and some cute pics with Grandpa and the kiddos :).
