One Small Step for...

...the Boyarko household is one huge step for D and P! It is time for a D&P update :o).

A D Day...

It is difficult for me to realize that D is 2 and a half years old! WOW!!! He has grown so much in the past half year it is incredible. I look at him now and see a little boy, not a baby or toddler even. Though I still try to cuddle with him as though he is either of those :o). His vocabulary is immense, and he has finally taken an interest in singing his ABC's with me as well as counting. Whew! He almost has all of his 'baby' teeth; the last two molars are still coming in, but coming in nonetheless. And the best news???? He is finally interested in potty training!!!!!!!!! It still isn't perfected, but he initiated it after all these months of us asking him and him refusing, so I will take whatever he is willing to give. Baby steps. But forward steps. And.they.are.wonderful ♥!!!!

P's Way...

And OMG, she is already 8 and a half months old. And mostly doing a full on regular crawl at this point. She is also demonstrating interest in getting up on her feet to stand and walk!! I realize chasing after two who may go in different directions will be challenging, but I am ready for her to be up off the ground where the temptation to lick shoes, eat leaves, and chug sand is minimized :o). She just ♥s all things D, and continues to enjoy playing with him more and more as her mobility improves.

We have attended the most awesome Library kids time the past two weeks with our friends D, H and F. This week, the lady who runs the activity came prepared for Halloween:

Note D and H right up in front paying close attention. They have been doing a fabulous job with this activity and seem very interested :o).
