Update

Ok, ok, so I haven't been the best about updating the blog the past few days. We have been very busy getting all of our decorations taken down and stored, as well as sorting through all our baby clothes to decide what to keep and what to pass along. I have discovered that we have very few gender neutral clothes...as soon as people knew we were having a boy with D, most everything we received had blue on it or was clearly designed for a boy. Now, I don't care so much about what Baby P wears around the house, but when we venture out in public, it would be nice if she wasn't wearing all blue :) since we tend to have slow hair-growers in our family and she will likely be bald for a while. We have received some "girl" clothes from various sources, and are happy that she will indeed have some pink items with frills to sport. With the clothes mostly tackled, G and I realized that we probably need to get a hospital bag packed sometime soon...hard to imagine we are less than 2 months away now. Our most recent appointment was on the 2nd, and thankfully, everything checked out ok. We were also told that from here on out, I will only be seeing two mid-wifes (rather than the original who-knows-who-we-will-see-next-time plan) which made us happy. Weight gain still the same as last time...probably on track to gain a total of 30-35 pounds, which I can live with. And, so far, the baby appears to be a normal size for this stage (~5lbs), and they don't think she will get overly large (thank goodness!). We are getting ready and anxious to meet this new bundle of life!
