Today was
Turtle Time at Fountain Creek Nature Center! The kids were treated to some lessons about turtles and their homes (which live on their back don'tcha know), a puppet show, a neat song (I have a little turtle, his name is Tiny Tim...you know you know this one), a live turtle show!...and a great hike around the center despite cooler temps. We also squeezed in a
micmic lunch at the end which was cold, but fun!

Holy seed-pods Batman, we're growing!!!!! Upon our return home from the nature center, D discovered that
despite Mommy's not-green-thumb the
seeds we planted on Sunday are starting to grow (one sprout in each basket)!!! Yipppppeeeeeee! Yeeeehaaaaawwww! *wheeeeeeeeew*
