A Little Bit of Monterey in our Day

Yesterday we had the opportunity to visit a spectacular home on Pebble Beach...the 17-mile drive part of it...yea, that one, the one where "modest" homes cost a cool $29+ million. We laughed, and enjoyed it since we will most likely never see the inside of such a home again. Did I mention the house was actually just a simple investment by the gentleman who owns the house slightly up the hill...so that he would always have his view? LOL - if only we could make such "simple" investments :). After the brunch (at this home) G dropped me off at a local wine tasting place on Cannery Row so a friend and I could enjoy an afternoon with each other and without the kids. It was great to sit and overlook the ocean and just talk (adult speak)...oh, and plot our next ski getaway to Durango (of course, where else would we go?!).
